Jooste-Lees chiropractic is a Kloof based Chiropractor. We provide family and sports chiropractic care for all ages. Dr Anneke Lees specializes in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system and the effects of these disorders on the functioning of the nervous system and general health.


We specialize in the diagnosis of musculoskeletal pain and injuries for all ages. From headaches, neck pain, back pain, joint and muscular pain to colic and pregnancy related back pain, we can help you.


We use a combination of the following treatment methods; spinal and extremity adjustments, joint mobilization,cervical and lumbar traction, soft tissue therapy, dry needling, kinesio tape,T.E.N.S, therapeutic ultrasound and IFC.


We believe that prevention is the best cure. We provide you with the advice and tools to prevent injuries from reoccurring by prescribing rehabilitation exercises, stretches, posture correcting exercises, nutritional guidance and pilates.

Dr Anneke Lees

Dr. Anneke Lees

Dr. Anneke Lees is a passionate Chiropractor who received her M.Tech in Chiropractic from the Durban University of Technology. Further to this, she has an International Chiropractic Sport Science diploma in the upper and lower extremities. She is a member of the Chiropractic Association of South Africa, Paed Chiro SA and the Allied Health Professional Council of South Africa. Dr Lees loves working with athletes and has amassed excellent experience with athletes having worked at the Comrades Marathon, Mr. Price Pro surfing event and Sani-2-Sea mountain bike race. Her sporty background, having played touch rugby for South Africa for 4 years and KZN provincial hockey for 12 years, gives her a unique appreciation and understanding of the demands that sport puts on the body and how to effectively treat sports related injuries. She completed her Masters thesis in the area of injury prevention as she studied the efficacy of the Functional Movements Screen as a predictor for injury in female field hockey players. She has a deep appreciation for the human posture and completed a Pilates teachers course in the New York classical style.

Over and above Dr Lees’ interest in treating athletes, she also has a keen interest in family well-being and her practise has quickly developed into a treatment facility for the whole family. Having furthered her studies with certifications in areas of Paediatric chiropractic, her care extends to pregnant women and their newborn babies. She is a mom of two and takes special care of other moms, babies and soon to be moms.

Dr. Lees worked in Vanderbijlpark for three years where she started her private practice. She then moved back to her home town and is now practicing in Kloof, Durban. Serving the community she grew up in.


What to expect

First appointment

The first appointment is a comprehensive health assessment. Patients can expect this appointment to take approximately 30 to 40 mins.

Should the outcome of your assessment indicate the need for another specialist then the doctor will refer you accordingly.

Note: Patients should arrive 10 minutes before their appointed time to complete the necessary patient information forms. Please bring any previous x-rays or scans if available.

Follow-up appointment

A follow-up is generally required within a week of your first consultation to monitor progress and continue with treatment. The follow-up consultation is generally shorter and patients can expect it to take between 15 and 30 minutes.

Note: Please dress comfortably for all consultations so that the doctor can effectively test your range of motion and treat you optimally.

Follow-up appointment.

Private patients rate: R500.00
Medical aid rate: R550.00.

Please note, all first appointments are cash however patients can submit their own claim to their medical aid. After the first appointment, having collected each patient’s medical aid details during the first appointment, we are then in a position to submit medical aid claims on your behalf for follow-up appointments.
